Glimpse of Summer Blast

Uncategorized,central kidz — central kidz on July 20, 2010 at 4:40 pm

Hey parents!

I first want to say it has been an incredible blessing to be a part of your kids lives this week. God has been moving in significant ways here at UCYC, and it is great to see God’s movement here.

We are in the middle of our set scheduled days, which are filled from church services, to color competitions, pool games, rock walls, zip lines, and other fun activities the camp has planned for the kids. But rather then me telling you, I will show you a little bit of what is happening from camp. All pictures posted with this blog were taken during small group times. Pictures of games, activities, and worship sessions will come later!

Please continue to keep the leaders, camp, and safety in your prayers. As I said, God is moving, and we want you to be a part of it, even from Las Vegas!

  11. To all the parents with kids in Camerons small group my apologies about the kid in the front that is doing the whole hand motion. I don’t know why he feels the need to do that in every picture.LOL
I really don’t know where he got that from.

  12. Thank you for all of blog updates and for these photos. You are doing such a great job this year of sharing the story of what is happening in the lives of our children while away at camp. Thank you! Thank you! I just want to tell you how much I appreciate the information and multiple updates each day. I also want to say thank you to each of you who has invested your time towards this exciting opportunity. I know there have been many hours and prayers that went into the preparation–and I know there are long days and more prayers that are going into each day at camp. Thank you so much. I pray that God blesses this week in your lives as well as the lives of all of the children.

  13. Thank you so much for the pictures. It is such a relief to see my Bella smiling and looking so happy. I never would have guessed how this would have week would have been so hard on her family at home, her presence is really missed. Knowing what she is experiencing at camp and how she may come home with an even deeper faith just makes it all worthwhile. Thank you Central !

  17. I am laughing as I look at these pictures! I thought it was a little ambitious to get pictures up while so busy with all those kids! They look like they are having a great time. Thank you all so much, especially Alyssa, for volunteering your time and talents this week for our children. I think camp is the best place to learn about the Word of God, mostly because of the lack of distration from everyday life, and because sometimes the kids hear better when they are away from their parents!
